Why we built Amplicast: the content distribution problem nobody talks about
Creating content is 20% of the work. Getting it everywhere is the other 80%. We automated the 80%.
Everyone talks about content creation. Nobody talks about content distribution.
Here's the dirty secret of content marketing: writing the post is the easy part. Getting it everywhere — reformatted, resized, rescheduled, republished — that's where the real time goes. And it's where most teams give up.
The 80/20 problem
We noticed this pattern across every client we worked with. A founder or marketing lead would write something genuinely good — a LinkedIn post, a blog article, an insight worth sharing. Then one of two things happened:
- It got posted once, on one platform, and died there
- Someone spent 3 hours manually reformatting it for Twitter, email, LinkedIn, and their blog
Neither outcome is acceptable. Good content deserves distribution. And distribution shouldn't require a full-time coordinator.
What Amplicast does
Amplicast solves this with a simple premise: write once, publish everywhere.
You create a piece of content — a thought, an article, an insight. Amplicast takes that single input and generates platform-optimized versions for LinkedIn, X, newsletters, blogs, and more. Not generic reposts — actually adapted content that fits each platform's format, tone, and audience expectations.
The key differentiator: it's not just a reformatter. Amplicast understands that a LinkedIn post has different structural needs than a tweet thread, which has different needs than an email newsletter opener. Each output is crafted for its destination.
Why we built it ourselves
We could have recommended existing tools to our clients. We tried. Nothing worked the way it needed to.
The tools that existed fell into two camps:
- Too simple: Just cross-post the same text everywhere (looks lazy, performs poorly)
- Too complex: Enterprise marketing suites that cost $2K/month and require a dedicated admin
We needed something in the middle. Something a solo founder or a small GTM team could use in 10 minutes. Something that felt like magic but was backed by real AI understanding of each platform.
So we built it.
The result
Amplicast is now live, Stripe-integrated, and serving B2B teams who want output without the busywork. Our clients typically go from publishing 2-3 times per week on one platform to publishing daily across four platforms — without adding headcount.
The content quality stays high because the AI adapts rather than copies. The time investment drops from hours to minutes because the distribution is automated.
This is what we mean when we say we don't just advise — we ship. Amplicast is a tool we use ourselves, every day, and now it's available to everyone.
